Kenji Watanabe is a Partner in Singapore. He advises technology companies and energy businesses across Asia on technology strategy, digital operations and growth into new markets. His recent work includes the Southeast Asian market entry for a European software company and the data platform behind a grid operator’s predictive maintenance program.
Kenji joined Vertex in 2018 after ten years in technology roles, first as a systems architect at a Japanese electronics group and then as chief technology officer of a logistics software start-up. He works in Japanese and English.
